I am a Vice President on the Board of the Great Neck Student Aid Fund, Inc. For nearly 88 years, the Great Neck Student Aid Fund, Inc. has been raising money to provide need based college scholarships to high school graduates who reside in the Great Neck School District. Our awards help bridge the gap between college costs and student financial resources. Over the years, we have been able to provide thousands of students in our community with grants to help pay for the critical first year of their higher education.

I am writing to tell you about a Fundraising Event that we are having. On September 22nd we
are hosting our 2nd Annual Fun Walk for Education. The Walk will begin and end at Great
Neck Plaza Village Hall. Registration begins at 9:00 am and the walk begins at 10:00 am. The
fee is $20 for adults, $10 for students under 18 and free for children in strollers. For
businesses and individuals contributing $250 or more by 9/8/19 there will be a sign with your
name or business name along the route.

I would greatly appreciate it if you could pass on this information to other students and friends and family in the community. We all know someone who is in need of money to defray the high costs of college. This organization is strictly for the benefit of Great Neck Student in need. All applications are kept strictly confidential!

Please visit the Great Neck Student Fund Aid, Inc. website to learn more about us and to Register for the Walk. Or visit to register for the walk or make a contribution.

If you provide me with an email address, I can provide you registration forms if you prefer to register by mail. Even if you cannot walk, please consider a donation!

It would be great if the newspaper could cover the event – we are trying to put GNSAF on the radar so we can raise money for your fellow classmates to go to college!
